Susan Jones, Inmar
Susan leads the Business Development and Marketing teams for Inmar’s Promotion Services and Revenue Recovery divisions. She oversees the development, delivery and branding of new products, services, and marketing relationships to broaden Inmar’s offering portfolio for both clients and new markets. Susan and her team are instrumental in developing and managing a range of innovative Inmar products, such as Alinea®, iDeal, Carolina Online, Forecasting, ViviCodes and Chargeback Control.
Most recently, Susan led development efforts of Conexions – the industry’s first flexible, digital promotions settlement platform to enable the next generation of electronic promotion and marketing delivery tactics. She also led the acquisition integration of Inmar VSI Promotion Consulting (formerly VSI Targeting) and now maintains leadership responsibilities for the group, serving as General Manager.
Susan is also a leading voice for innovation within the promotions industry as well, serving as chairperson of the Association of Coupon Professionals’ Digital Coupon Guidelines Taskforce and participating in the GS1 MobileCom group on global mobile promotions standards. She is also active in recent digital coupon discussions with the Joint Industry Coupon Committee.
In her fifteen years with Inmar, Susan has held various positions within the Client Operations, Client Services, and Product Management teams.
Susan holds a B.A. from Lenoir-Rhyne College in Business Administration and an M.B.A. from Wake Forest University’s Babcock Graduate School of Management.
Darcy Douglas, Kantar Media
Darcy has spent 15 years growing, changing and evolving in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry. She is excited to contribute value-added coupon insights through her speaking events, tweeting, white papers, and constant connections made in this industry and other related areas.
Darcy currently works at Kantar Media, Marx, delivering key insights for clients, continually shaping and growing the digital coupon tracking service that Marx established in 2009, and contributing to new areas of coupon development such as mobile and social. Previously, she spent seven years at General Mills, working in both sales and marketing roles on brands such as Yoplait, Progresso and K-12 foodservice products. Darcy holds an MBA from Carlson School of Management at the University of MN, and a Bachelor of Science from University of Madison – Wisconsin.
When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family including her two children, John and Abbey. Traveling, running and a good game of bridge are among her favorite leisure activities. Darcy strongly believes in the power of networking, co-founding the Twin Cities Business Peer Network – which has over 1,500 members as of 2015. Charlie Brown, NCH Marketing Services
With more than 30 years of NCH experience, Charlie is a marketer of efficient and effective coupon settlement and redemption practices that help retailers and manufacturers accomplish more with their promotional funds. As industry spokesperson for NCH’s Coupon Facts Analysis, Charlie helps clients interpret coupon market trends to better understand and protect the dollars that are at stake. His insights about the coupon redemption market have been quoted by numerous trade publications and reputable news channels. Charlie has served the industry as a member of the board of directors of the Brand Activation Association (BAA) and the Association of Coupon Professionals (ACP) as well as various industry committees and task forces to improve the business of marketing with coupons
John Morgan, ACP, Moderator
John has more than 30 years experience in consumer package goods and the coupon industry. His experience includes both strategy and implementation while crossing business functions of sales, marketing, operations, and information technology while focusing on business-to-business marketing and business development in the retail grocery industry.
Currently, he is a partner of Integrated Management Solutions, Inc. a meeting planning, management services, and consultancy serving the coupon industry. He serves as Executive Director of the Association of Coupon Professionals, managing the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of this 60+ member trade association.
He has been involved in the industry, participating in many trade association activities and initiatives and serving as a panelist and presenter at conferences that includes the Association of Coupon Professionals, Joint Industry Coupon Committee, Coupon Information Center, GS1, and The Mobile Marketing Association.
