ACP Focused on the Future!
The Association of Coupon Professional’s Board of Directors leads the association in the development and pursuit of its mission. In 2013 it conducted both a member survey and a non-member survey to determine where the industry needs are and how to be a relevant contributor to the improvement of business conditions, as it relates to coupons, between retailers and manufacturers. In 2014 the board updated the ACP mission which is:
The Association of Coupon Professionals provides manufacturers and retailers with education and valued insights to effectively execute coupon promotions from development through settlement. This is accomplished by providing resources to industry professionals on coupon guidelines, new trends, emerging technologies and best practices including forums for coupon education.
The ACP’s New Tag Line is:
“Helping manufacturers and retailers effectively execute coupon promotions”
In 2015, after a consultant assisted strategic planning process, the board developed action plans based on the planning process. The process refocused the association on core strengths and industry needs; Education & Training, Coupon Best Practices, Communication, both within the industry and also with our association partners, and growing the Membership to increase the resources to support the mission.
